Honey & Glass
This is a typography project based on the spoken poetry piece Honey and Glass by Peyton Cardozo. My goal was to visually express the deep emotions of envy and hopelessness that the artist conveys throughout the poem.

Through carefully timed motion and stylistic typography choices, I aimed to capture the raw frustration and longing present in the words. To achieve this, I experimented with dynamic text movement, distortion, and pacing to reflect the poet’s shifting emotions—contrasting fluid, dreamlike transitions with abrupt, jarring moments to emphasize the weight of her feelings. This project was an exploration of how motion and type can work together to amplify storytelling and evoke emotion.
